Rebecca Midden
Designer / Artist / Educator
Rebecca Midden is a Chicago-based designer, artist, and educator. She is Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator of Interior Architecture at Columbia College Chicago and founder of Dutch Miller Design, an independent residential design practice.
Her work moves between built interiors, adaptive reuse, site-responsive installation, exhibition making, and design pedagogy. Across these contexts, she examines how materials, existing conditions, and patterns of occupation shape spatial experience.
Midden holds a Master of Architecture in Interior Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Bowling Green State University.
